How to get there

Ø By plane: When coming from GER, UK, FR, HOL and AUS catch a charter flight directly to Kalamata’s airport (KLX). Other-wise get a connecting flight to KLX via Athens. Charter flights operate from approximately mid May till about the end of October.

Ø The journey from KLX to Stoupa is approximately 1hr 15 mins long. First you cross the town of Kalamata, you drive up through winding mountain Taygetos roads and finally you rejoin the coastline. Those arriving at night won’t have the chance to fully view the countryside, so if you do so it is recommended to take a trip back to Kalamata during your holiday

Ø By train: daily service from Athens to Kalamata – aprox 7 hrs

Ø By bus: daily service from Athens to Kalamata _ aprox 41/2hrs

Ø Mon-Sat from Athens to Stoupa- aprox 6 hrs

Ø By taxi: From Athens’s airport the cost is around 102,7 € or according to agreement. From Kalamata the cost is around 29,34€ or according to agreement.

Ø With your own car at Patras from Italy. The journey from Patra’s port to Stoupa is aprox. 4 hrs.
